Hey Showstoppers :)

It's currently Fashion central here in Dublin as Dublin Fashion Festival kicked off this week bringing us lot's of fashion shows and events in and around the city centre. I am LOVING it!

I've had lot's of inspo here when it comes to style and fashion and I hit the highstreet with a bang a few days ago to grab myself some new season pieces at budget friendly prices!

Here's what I came home with and how I styled them :

  • 90's Nostalgia

This season, we're seeing quite a few 90's style elements making a comeback such as dungaree's and dungaree dresses like this little black number that I picked up from H&M for €29.99

I paired it with this cute Mustard toned jumper which is a huge shade for AW16 which cost just €14.99 and keeping in with the 90's vibes, I finished it off with this brown backpack bag from Forever 21.

I think this look is just so cute and it's really comfortable to wear too.
You could dress this outfit up by pairing the dress with a patterned blouse, heels and a clutch bag or keep it casual like I've done.

  • The Slip Dress

Slip dresses are EVERYWHERE this season and when I spied this silver metallic dress from Penny's, I had to have it!
Slip dresses were popular in the 90's but with this one being silvery and metallic, it reminds me of  the 70's!

If you aren't comfortable wearing this style of dress on it's own, you can layer it with a white T shirt which automatically gives it more of a casual, modern look and you can even wear it with flats.

Metallic slip on runners-€7 from Penny's
Metallic slip dress-€16

You can see some other ways on how to style a slip dress and more pieces I picked up by watching my video here.
